April 24, 2024 - California wines but not from Napa: Drank a small glass over an hour. This was in a lineup with two chardonnays. While it stood out, I understood the resemblence as well. Its as if the Rhone variety's lift the larger chardonnay and give more structure. Quite floral, honey, beeswax, apricots and a viscous mouthfeel.

April 21, 2024 - Monthly Tasting Group: California: Anything but Napa (BLVD Kitchen & Bar, Wayzata, MN): Light-medium gold color. Small glass over 30 minutes. So the one word that comes to mind for this wine is: Schizophrenic. This is a wine that doesn't know what it wants to be. The blend is pretty out there (Roussanne 41%, Chard 26%, Petit Mensang 14%, Viognier 12% and Gelbert Muskateller 7%), and it sort of tastes like all of them. This is not to say I didn't like it, because I did. There are some interesting aromatics, I mean it is effusive aromatically. I like the brine and swampy earthiness on the nose; there's plenty of tropical fruits, and the palate is round and plush, though there seems to be enough acid and minerality to boost it. 92-93pts.

April 21, 2024 - Beautiful multifloral wine wine good body and gravitas. Benefited from extended aeration and even better the next day.

March 23, 2024 - Peach, papaya, cantaloupe, beeswax, vanilla, cardamom pod, coriander. It's a rich, unctuous wine. Even with it's high alcohol it maintains balance, and doesn't feel too hot. This feels like a feat at 15.3%. We tried from 4 different glasses to compare, and preferred a burgundy stem by far. Great wine!

March 23, 2024 - Quite incredible in some ways - nose opens up and gives a fair bit
Sone rich deep notes and flavours
Palate is quite punchy but given depth the 15.3% doesn’t detract as much as it could
It’s is fresh, it is big and does have that lanolin and furniture polish element
Has a good long finish, great drive and energy

March 16, 2024 - Popped and poured. This is a medium gold wine. The nose is terrific, giving scents of papaya, honeydew melon, spring flowers, wild honey, beeswax, and lemon zest. In the mouth, this is rich, lush, full, and round, leaving a creamy finish with a slight talc aspect. Overall, I found this to be a high-quality and unique white wine, one that is dangerously drinkable. The main downside is the silly overweight bottle. Drink now or hold 5-7 years. 93 points.

January 27, 2024 - Park90 / Grand Cru SQN Masterclass: Blend of five grapes; 15.3% alcohol. Big-boned, tropical fruit of peach and apricot. Too candied and came across as a look-at-me wine that was trying too hard to be serious Chardonnay.

January 27, 2024 - Tasted at the Sine Qua Non Q.E.D. The Masterclass Experience, part of the Fruits of the Vine 2024 at The Singapore Edition organised by Grand Cru.

Gold in colour with a very pretty and well-structured nose. Pure gold in the glass. A wine that went zig-zag on the palate. Waves of fresh acidity kept attacking the senses with very pronounced white stone fruits notes.

Amazing mix of grape varietals from different plots and new French and old oak to produce such a complex yet harmonious wine. Wonderful.

January 15, 2024 - Some strong oak notes on the nose, along with vanillin, honey and a touch of apricot. Comes together nicely on the palate, a smooth entry. This could use some more time in the bottle, although I didn't have the right stems for drinking today. Used Schott Zwiesel Pure Full-Bodied White Wine glasses which focused the nose, I think a burgundy bowl would've worked better.

December 17, 2023 - Nose of honeysuckle, peach, apple, ginger, walnut and lemon peel. Peach, honeysuckle, apple, hazelnut, lemon peel and wet stone on the palate. Creamy with crisp acidity and hazelnut lingering on the very long finish. Good acidic balance. Paired well with potato encrusted walleye, fennel salad and Pernod beurre blanc sauce.
