September 18, 2023 - A delicious nose, full of sweet cherries, vanilla oak, dark chocolate and some toasted clove and fresh tarragon. Palate is equally rich, slight sweet and upfront. The full-bodied structure dominated the palate. Finish has a touch of tannins but lacking acidity to balance the bacon fat in the phenolic elements. Drink this with an hour of decanting for a better balance. Better still age this for another 3 years
