  October 28, 2023 - Hard to compare this to his Nine Suns bottling. This seems more subdued, almost backwards. Decanted and had over ~4 hours.

  November 18, 2022 - Young but dang this is so good. 2.5 hr decant, vivid magenta/purple. By the Chang family (former Nine Suns owners) on Pritchard Hill.
  Sensational notes of red and blue fruits, ripe cherries, pie crust, milk chocolate, baking spices, vanilla cookies, mocha, coffee, and anise. So much finesse and balance on the palate. Bright, suave and svelte with layers of delicious flavors. This will fill out even more. Cheers

  May 13, 2022 - This is a Nine Suns cabernet with grapes from their home Houyi vineyard and also some from Oakville. I really enjoyed this wine and think it will come into its own in a few years. Currently, it's pretty big and tannic, with great density. Shows off really focused blue fruit, great freshness with serious depth of flavor and persistence. While tasting this next to the 12 Nine Suns and 19 Sunbird, I kept coming back to it and thought it was the most interesting wine on the table. Apparently, there's not much left but it's worth grabbing if you get the chance.
