August 3, 2022 - Fun, affordable wine that's a nice alternative to NZ Sauvignon Blanc. Somewhat fruit forward with notes of white fruit: Anjou pear, asian pear, green apple, jicama, and dried dates. Plenty of acidity but low tannins make it a perfect partner for various Thai dishes: anything with coconut milk, green curry, pad Thai. Could work with sushi, as well as chicken or fish dishes with ginger. At this price it is a nice alternative to more generic budget offerings but don't expect it to be any more complex than the fun table white that it is. Drinks well nice and cold out of the fridge.
