September 9, 2023 - Nose shows wild blackberry, coconut, and oak. Wild black raspberry with a touch of fresh thyme, mint notes, and rustic black fruits. Finish turns a bit drier, with blackberry, dried herbs, smooth tannins, acidity and a long lingering oak and a graphite note. Drinking well.

October 9, 2022 - Nose of cocoa and blackberry and bit of fresh thyme. Sweet blackberry and boysenberry pie flavors form a dense palate with a line of dark chocolate ganache, fresh ginger, and a touch of acidity. Soft plush tannins on the finish with cream brûlée, bouquet garnis, and oak. This is an excellent Zin for the next few years while it’s still plump. Drink 2022-2026.
