February 26, 2023 - Don't drink many Italian wines and had never experienced the "tar and roses", now it makes sense! Lighter body, with snappy bright flavors. That almost petrol heady-ness with a highly highly perfumed floral aroma. Finishes like just ripe raspberries. Not acidic, not sweet. Probably not the most impressive example of the style, but a decent buy at this price.

Medium taste of dark plum, blackberry, blueberry, vanilla, red cherry, tomato and green pepper. Long and dry finish. Light acidity. Light tannins. Medium body. A very good Montepulciano d’Abruzzo. Drink now. Goes well with grilled meat, pizza or pasta.
