November 26, 2022 - .Med intensity nose of barnyard, hay, and oak. Initial sips had notes of hay, oak, plum and pencil shavings. This opened up with notes of leather, tobacco and dark fruit.
Med bodied, well balanced sweetness, low acidity and soft mouthfeel.
This bottle was enjoyable, and for the price, this really hit the spot. With some decanting time, this would likely increase in rating. Would sip again. -
Double-A Likes this wine: 90 points
September 20, 2022 - Currant, smoke, tar, toast, and savoury, sautéed veg on the nose. Ripe and distinct palate; sturdy and well-balanced with good flavours and length.
