September 18, 2022 - Lovely well balanced, not as terse as many Italian wines I have tasted. Dark color, full bodied, opened up after about 30 minutes. Deep fruit, hints of spice, just a really smooth drink, but needs food due to the complexity. Would be great with a cheese pairing.

September 15, 2021 - Ruby red with garnet tones. On the nose shows tertiary oaky and nutty notes and hints of cranberry and marasca cherry. Full mouthed and round with a good structure and a tannic finale with aftertaste of cherry and marasca under spirit.
