September 5, 2013 - This Cornas has a nice dark ruby color with a slightly lighter rim. It has aromas of damp earth, dark fruit, and wood. The wine tastes of tart cherries, figs, and blackberries. There is also a little herbiness and oakiness present. It is medium bodied, well structured, and has a silky mouthfeel. The finish is moderate with well integrated tannins. The bottle is mature and ready to drink.

I enjoyed this Syrah, but unfortunately it got lost among the aged Bordeaux's and more intense Napa Cabs that were also poured.

May 23, 2013 - Lovely aromas of earth, sun baked bramble, blackberry and violet. Medium bodied, well balanced with fresh black fruit, dusty mid palate and a slightly peppery finish.

July 16, 2011 - Decanted for almost 2 hours. Red fruits on the nose with some earthy tones, light minerality, celery green notes and a touch of pepper. Palate- medium body and acidity with red cherry fruits, some minerals, light pepper and earthy tones with soft tannins. Easy drinking wine with a medium finish however, it did blossomed further into the third hour! Will require a revisit...
