March 10, 2024 - A very satisfied Chardonnay, both on nose and pallet. It is so powerful that it should not drink directly along with Pinot Noir (we used to get a little white to reset between different reds), it should be enjoyed by itself.

October 27, 2023 - Golden colour. Honeysuckle, daisies and suggestion of yellow fruit on the nose. Silky mouthfeel and quite bright acidity with some natural sweetness whilst remaining dry. Really well balanced and frankly delicious. N.B. did not detect any oak.

October 7, 2023 - QN: had with 2017 PC chablis so tasting this was a shock to the system... regardless this folllows the ABC style well, big ripe california chard fruit, some malo, lots of new expensive french oak, firm and fresh on the palate with no overripeness. great stuff that will improve over the next few years.

April 7, 2023 - Blind tasting (K&L Wine Merchant - Redwood City): N: Obvious but lightly buttered popcorn, covering up the yellow fruit, stretched taffy. The notes on the nose makes this wine a bit fun. Personally, not something to be wafting on daily but nice once in a while.

P: Matches nose completely, buttered taffy, bitter pineapple skins.

Thinking process: Guess chardonnay immediately because of the butter notes. I told myself that if I got this one wrong, I need to stop drinking wine, period. This was a fun wine, regardless of the notes it gives. The butter notes lead me to Napa so..

    My calls:
    Chardonnay
    2020 vintage
    New world
    US > Napa
