January 24, 2024 - Surprisingly good for the price. Blueberry, blackberry, baking spice, bright acidity. Would buy more, especially at the $15 paid at Costco.

November 13, 2023 - The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, black currant (cassis) and strawberry jam. It tastes like blackberry, black currant (cassis), cinnamon and oak.
The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity. -

August 6, 2023 - Family Holidays; 7/28/2023-9/10/2023 (Alicante - España): By the glass. Aromas of very ripe black fruit. Overwhelming and monolithic. Rest are notes from wood.
A warm, structured and alcoholic wine on the palate. It needs rest time. Core of a new world wine. Far from my interest.
Por copas. Aromas a fruta negra muy madura. Abrumadora y monolítica. Resto son notas procedentes de la madera.
Un vino cálido, estructurado y alcohólico al paladar. Necesita tiempo de reposo. Corazón de nuevo mundo. Lejos de mi interés.1 person found this helpful Comment -

July 28, 2023 - Really good Chilean Syrah. Dark berries, black cherry fruit. Ripe but not sweet. Smoked meat, leather, dark spice, with a hint of fresh green herbs (not vegetal like many Chilean wines these days). Complex & balanced.

March 29, 2023 - Like reuniting with an old friend, this is as good as ever. Maybe a tad less distinctive than previous vintages, but it's an excellent wine with terrific structure. Notes of ripe blackberry and smoke lead the way, with hints of dark chocolate and spice weaving in late. A tar note also lingers from brisk tannins on the medium finish.
