December 17, 2008 - The voluptuous side of Fleurie. Drinking really well at the moment, with ripe red fruit balanced by a mineral edge, and just a bit of high toned VA. Plush soft mouthfeel, that finishes with some spice and ripe tannin. I've mostly been a Cuvee Traditionelle fan when it comes to Vissoux, but this is pretty convincing tonight. Much more enjoyable than a bottle opened in June. Definitely in a nice drinking window.

August 27, 2008 - My introduction to "real" (i.e. non-Duboeuf) beaujolais and I'm impressed. Soft textured, sweet cherry fragrance, a very slight hint of game - slow and still and quite deep, and with a bit of grip on the finish. I'll get some more.

June 2, 2008 - Nice enough nose here, but at first sniff is a little primary and one dimensional right now. It seems a bit riper than the 06 Diochon MaV than I tried the other night. After several hours some hints of minerals come through. Good wine, but I think I will hold off opening any more for a bit, as there is more in store than it is giving now.
