March 9, 2024 - High-end mature Riesling (Restaurant Brunnenstube, Beinstein): Glass: Schott Definition Universal
Very consistent with my previous notes. Of course a completely different style compared to all other wines of this evening, but such a beauty. Powerful, bold, complex, creamy, almost oily texture. Long and lingering. Classic Singerriedel. 94

February 10, 2024 - Yellow/golden color in the glass. No signs of ageing. Fresh nose of citrus, yellow fruits, orange...on the palate there is a grapefruit-touch with some slight bitterness in the background which makes the wine very elegant. The end is very long and all in all this is a perfect bottle of one of the best white wines of Austria. I think 2001 is underestimated by the way...no need to hurry, will last for many more years though there is no room for improvement...96 points.

December 2, 2023 - Opened in the AM and drunk over an evening at dinner

A stony nose with citrus pith, some green veg and herbs and a pile of geologic matter. Towering structure with toothsome extract and density delivered with a degree of focus and clarity that it comes across as a precision cut rather than brute force. A wine made of Valerian steel. A wine of contemplation. Terrific depth. Mouthwatering yet it lingers on the back end. A wine for lovers of fruit to run away from with haste, but a rockhead's dream. My best bottle of this I have had. At peak.
