Community Tasting Notes 7

September 7, 2015 - Nicely evolved, might go another 3-5 years, well integrated, typical well made Napa cab. Called it for shorter last time, but this one still has time

March 3, 2015 - Fully mature bottle, well on to secondary phase, earthy, leather, tobacco. Surprised, my wife wondered if this was old world. Very different impression from last three- like a different wine entirely. The others were all drunk in NY, this one we brought to West Palm on the plane with us a month ago. As all know, it's been cold in the east and sure no cooking during the two hour flight. Anyways, much more evolved than we expected. Will Prob not wait on the last bottle much longer.

September 3, 2014 - Did not like first night on PNP so had one glass and came back. Next night, much improved, open, floral complex grapey nose, smelled like the crush, mouth pleasing Cali cab, lengthy, purple, reasonably viscous, in its mid cycle. Left one more glass for the last night- no special protection besides reinserting cork, and at its best, really strutting. Now I have to decide what we are drinking two nights out?

November 19, 2013 - I thought this is the first 04 Terraces we have opened and its in a very good place albeit still young. Good rich fruit, firm tannins, beginning to have a finish of some length and interest - had half last night and saved the rest for tonight so will see how that impacts. Very clear good calif cabs can age altho probably mainly into a second decade for most. I go back read my notes and see why I take notes, as this is not first. Note to self- read own notes.

August 5, 2013 - Didn't like it much at all the first night- but on coming back thr next night the fruit seemed to have decided to quiet down and meld together (you can see we are learning canasta ) into a well structured California beauty that suggests that in another few years this should be a "wow" wine
