January 31, 2024 - Coravined. Deep dark magenta color. Blackberry, blueberry, violet, sarsaparilla, and dark chocolate. Very smooth, dry, plush palate. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish.
My score is just a placeholder. This is dark and brooding, but clearly going to be great. Really needs another year or two in the cellar and/or a 2-3 hour decant. -

February 11, 2022 - The last red wine is the 2019 Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, also from the Andrew Geoffry Vineyard. If I recall correctly this was just recently bottled. Deep purple in appearance. Dark berries on the nose and savory oak coming through showing its youth. Heavy and furry tannins (8/10) with a full body. Still a baby but surprisingly well rounded with ripe and big black and red berries. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2030. (95+)
