  August 4, 2023 - Nice fruity and a bit cherry taste. Took a minute to open up. Did not decant but let it change over our pours. We paid too much for a ($125 US) at a restaurant - but it’s a nice bottle.

  July 3, 2023 - Very different impression compared to previous taster, even though we are aligned on the rating. Bought at supermarket in Naples for EUR 29 and Pnp at home. Soft and round, still a bit too much oak but should integrate in the next year or two. Lacks delineation and aromatics of a better vintage. Tannins are not sticking out at all. Short finish. This will not go anywhere, ok at EUR30 but would take a Rosso from a good vintage over this.
  
  PS: rest of half full bottle from fridge on day 2 loses the softness from day 1 and gains some delineation. Also a touch of the typical BdM bitterness but remains short and of limited interest and excitement
