Light red, with hints of brown.
I was considering a decant, but it did not need it IMO. Nose is really nice, black cherry, hint of mushroom and forrest floor. Alcohol a bit high at 14.5 slightly annoying, but very tasty wine. Leather, Parmesan rind, slight asphalt, chocolate covered cherry, dried flowers, almost a chocolate covered orange comes out as well. Nice wine especially for Italian food pairing. -

Cherry and oak on the nose
On the palate heavy cheery flavor, with black tea, lemon, and currant.
Strong acidity, easy on the tannins
