October 27, 2008 - Wine Education Service - Chablis is Chic (LSE): Very attractive, peachy, creamy nose with good complexity and a hint of aging.
Elegant, good balance, very complex, weighty with great length. This wine is still a bit austere and the oak is evident. It would benefit from another five years in the cellar. -

Kommer fra en parsell på 2,1 hektar med over 40 år gamle vinstokker. Lukket, litt trang i skjæret. Trenger å luftes om man skal nyte den i dag. Under det hele en voldsom mineralitet som går mot østers og sjø. Noe lime. Fyldigere og ”større” enn den smale 2004-årgangen den erstatter. Stram, men på grunn av årgangen så er den også fyldig, nærmest rund og snill i innpakningen selv om den er stram og trang samtidig. Konsentrert, lang ettersmak. Bør lagres. 2010-2020 TM
