  May 9, 2024 - Super jammy red and black fruit with loads of oak. A powerful and ultra ripe wine.
  Full body, loads of tannin, low acid, and definitely some heat. The oak leaves a bit of bitterness on the finish.
  Be careful lighting a match near this one. It’s not bad but shows the boundary you can push ripeness to in Napa.

  March 24, 2024 - Drank just 2 hours after bought at Shafer Vineyards. Consumed at Scala Osteria $ Bar which a short decant.
  
  The wine is bold, perfumed, long legs, linear for now and no too expressive but pleasant, fair finish and everything will come together with 2-5 years of bottle age.

  March 21, 2024 - Heavy tannins, Dark fruit, full bodied, some earthiness, cherries, vanilla, a little alcohol burn.
  Still very good leave in the cellar for another 6-7 years.

  November 26, 2023 - Huge nose of super ripe black cherries, loads of vanilla, confiture de fraises... Huge concentration of black and red ripe cherries, lacking a bit of freshness and minerality, lenght of 45 sec, fruit bomb!!
