April 30, 2018 - A little orange on the rim and though the fill was above the neck I had to pull cork out with an ah-so. But the wine opened up nicely and had a claret-like texture that was very enjoyable. Nice red currants and raspberry notes that emerged a couple hours after opening and decant by splashing method. Very elegant and subtle wine overall. I would recommend consumption in the next 5 years,as the wine seemed mature though still lively.

September 10, 2007 - Sampled at Papa Joe's. Cost $2 per ounce. The appearance is dark and browned. The nose is dry and a astringent. The taste is complex, rich and full. The finish is medium in length. Three star value. Overall, very good (86).
