December 13, 2023 - Dark, saturated purple, from the get go this was a concentrated, feminine, complex, dark red fruited delight, seductive florals, subtle spice, just so delicious.

September 2, 2023 - Nicely approachable wine with soft tannins and a lovely acidity right off the bat!

Quite purple/violet in color and the aromas also follow that line. Fleshy and meaty fruits, mostly dark. Dark cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant, some red cherry, ripe strawberry and sweeter cranberries. There's an underlying touch of wet stone and forest floor at the beginning that more turns into spices/cinnamon at the end.

I liked it more cooler and freshly open than warmer at the end of the meal!

April 20, 2023 - Nearly purple in color. Highly concentrated fruit, moreso than I remember from the 2019. Thick and weighty on the palate. With time out of the bottle the spices like cinnamon, and mineral streaks emerge. Give this time to blossom.

    March 10, 2023 - .Dark impenetrable saturated purple-black.
Cacophonous nose, dark fruits, floral, spice, very dark and exotic, but simultaneously mineral, think an explosion in a quarry intersecting with muddy river stones.
Weightless palate with seemingly absent tannin yet so concentrated, dark red and purple fruits, limestone mineralite, subtle spice, so feminine and beguiling, yet some background inky, dark, masculine meaty, savoury elements hint at a completeness to this wine to be realised down the track… yet so delightful now… but when to drink my only other bottle?

November 26, 2022 - Cranberries, red cherries, cinnamon, some floral notes on the nose. Tannins soft, pleasant mouthfeel. Expected more earth. Might be drinking a bit young and not my fave burgundy but this is a distinctive wine.

Update: after some time, that dustiness I love came out. Still fresh but definitely shows its depth with air.
