May 3, 2024 - Just took delivery of this and wanted to take an early spin. Initially reserved, but within 30 minutes it was showing quite well. At 60 minutes singing. I suspect this will be a vintage of Martray CC that can both please in the short term and reward a bit of patience. I very much enjoyed it, but the value proposition will likely be questionable for many.

March 1, 2024 - Helle Farbre.

November 15, 2023 - Merchant walkabout tasting of the 2021 burgundy vintage in bottle. I really liked this vintage, the wines were showing well. It is lighter and crisper than the 2020, more open at this stage and easier to drink, but there is no under-ripeness. Comparing it to recent vintages, I see it as a slightly cooler version of 2017. TN: From this producer the 2020 was showed. After the purchase by the Screaming Eagle owner, the price has gone up a lot, too much for what I think it is. Good for sure today but not grand. Elegant, with citrus notes and some residual CO2. May be it is just too young. 93-94
