April 3, 2024 - A Savour club bottling, that had a recommendation sticker from the Troisgros brothers on the back. Thank you for your recommendation, Jean and Pierre, this was marvellous. It had some sous bois on the nose. It strengthened in the glass and possessed a beautifully cool and stony base. There were cherry and strawberry fruits and some black earth. It was full, lacy and generous and had a fine line of minerally acidity cutting through the long finish.

October 24, 2021 - A success for the vintage. Pretty aromas of black tea and black cherry. Silky fruit that is still sweet albeit on the lighter side.

October 24, 2021 - A Birthday / Burgundy Dinner (The Bristol): Enticing "old Burg" nose of black tea, black truffle and mature cherry. Palate is less exciting, more tired and lighter, and just a bit dirty. But none of the rot I would fear from a 1982. Actually better tonight vs last bottle (from same case) a decade ago. Enjoyable.

October 9, 2017 - Six Decades of de Vogüé Musigny: 2013 to 1969 (Vaucluse): Unattractive nose that is hard to describe as anything other than dead and rotten.
