April 24, 2024 - A private lunch (Restaurant Le Maufoux, Beaune, France): Characteristically pure and relaxed, beautifully primary juice (cherry, peach), but not without the earth and iron expression of its Nuits terroir, light on its feet (especially for a 2020), sensual but precise and transparent, gentle and flowing, silky-sweet, light but firm papery tannins, whiff of spice, crunchy fruit on the dreamy finish. Such charm.

March 7, 2024 - Chantereves Dinner (Flor Wines, Portland OR): The nose is robust and savory with open-knit tones of red cherries, sour red fruits, crushed rocks, herbs, a touch of stemmy/whole-cluster notes, earth tones, tobacco leaf, plums, and a touch of violets. The Medium bodied feel is balanced and vibrant with tart, medium+ acidity and chewy, medium+ tannins. The tannins have some grip to them and show off the youth of the wine. There is a lot to like here right now, but there is a fair amount of room for it to grow.

October 21, 2023 - Natural wine style, almost like a Gamay with a little more finesse. It had purple flowers, bubblegum and tangerine. Light on the palate. Drinking well already but really not my style.

December 18, 2022 - 刚开瓶就有着很“自然酒”的果味，酸杨梅、山楂、沙棘、酸樱桃等，色调偏暗，质地干净，带着些许肉感、木质香料和泥土味。口感上有着不错的集中度，有结构感和饱满感，单宁还不是太细致，有些许带摩擦感的粉质。口中多杨梅、山楂、黑樱桃、黑莓的果味，还带一点点酸梅汤的印象，比较浓郁清晰，中后段有着硬质略带锐利的矿物线条感，收尾有些香料粉和泥土，收尾中长。
瓶醒一个小时左右，香气变得复杂些，出现些许八角、丁香之类的香料、锡兰红茶和野味之类的味道，显得更浓重些。口感上单宁多，在舌面层层叠叠，不过质地变得稍微细了些，呈细粉状。通体的黑果和杨梅、山楂之类的果味圆融甜美，中后段多红茶、桂皮之类的木质香料、些许泥土和矿物。两个小时左右，香气和口感中出现些许烟草、黑咖啡和龙胆之类的味道，果味里浮现些黑醋栗的印象。三个小时左右，些许红果突出出来，带着活跃的冲劲，混合着细致的紫罗兰之类的味道，多了点细腻的风范。92+/1001 person found this helpful Comment
