  November 27, 2023 - Closed with natural cork; was curious to try this after really enjoying the 2017; on pop and pour this was quite tropical with pineapple and passionfruit along with a tiny whiff of spice; the palate had good energy and the fruit seemed more in the peach and pear realm; with about 90 min of air the tropical notes disappeared and this developed more pear, peach, apple, with some acacia blossom, and a hint of crushed rock. The palate expanded with more depth and a lovely saline finish. Very good and solid value for the current Burg market. I really have enjoyed Chassagne Caillerets the few times I've had it and will continue to look for it. Good now with some air and upside for at least a couple years, but the natural cork will push me to drink sooner rather than later.
  
  Held up very well on night 2; still fresh and vibrant with lovely citrus, peach and mineral notes.

  November 25, 2022 - Distinctly mineral and slightly salty. The fruit profile adds a tropical element of banana peel to the dominant green pear. Crisp and more citric on the palate, only marginally creamy. This was enjoyable, but failed to impress.
