October 17, 2023 - Beautiful nose that leans towards Burgundy. Red fruit, secondary and tertiary notes - truffle, mushroom, soil, leather. The impression of neutral foudre. Lean, with fine but grippy tannin and elevated acidity. Excellent.

May 2, 2023 - Medium red in color. Muted aromas. Great palate with strawberry, cherry dominating with some secondary carbonic mac notes of light banana and tropicals. Muted wood, probably old large barrels add complexity. Moderate acid, light tannin. There is an overall softness to it that I hear is classic for St. Amour. Great cru Beaujolais showing really well as a young, fruity one.

October 27, 2022 - Dark ruby, bright. Smells of leather and dark wood-panelled rooms. Rich, textured brambly fruit. Autumnal. Super-fine tannins. Deliciously sappy. Mmm!

May 20, 2022 - Tart and delicious with very nice fruit. Not a lot of depth or complexity, but paired surprisingly well with spicy chili.

May 8, 2022 - Blackberry & raspberry bramble, fine tannins, bright acidity and minerality, whiffs of herb and black pepper, perhaps even cocoa, and a flicker of green tobacco on the final sips after ~4 hours open. Should age nicely a few more years. Nice match for lamb tagine, though perhaps a tad dry to meld with the spice and subtle sweetness, despite the abundant fruit in the wine.
