June 30, 2019 - From a perfectly stored bottle this was still incredibly youthful. Sweet spices, licorice, some sweet corn, coffee, blackberries, coffee yogurt, tomato paste. Opulent, sweet and long with a beautiful sweerness-bitterness play. This was not unlike the Sine Qua Nons from the late 90s, which I love.

October 1, 2014 - Still a youthful Syrah but not quite the style I enjoy. Pretty green with an overtly herbal streak. A '94 Reva had a few years ago was much more to my taste.

April 30, 2010 - Beautiful scent with typical mature peppery Syrah fruit. However, aftertaste was hollow, and wasn't there vinegar? Not as nice as we remember them way back then.

June 15, 2009 - Wineflock - Alban Intro/Retro (Home): Group #4, My #4 - Full deep red color. Nice lithe spicy red fruit. Nice bright blueberry/blackberry palate with a firm frame and a sweet spice cake note. Nice.
