March 16, 2023 - From a small capped bottle. Beautiful sweet fruit - strawberries and sweet spice, soaring and perfumed. Cherries and stones - more elegant than the other wines. Tart cherry, stones and savory. Hints of spice green meat blood cherry on the palate. High acid and nervy. Finish is stony and cherry and taut. My style. Nose - 5.5/6, Palate - 5+/6, Finish - 5+/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1.5/2 = 17+/20.

Nous savions qu’on avait affaire à un vin plus âgé (puisque le choix de cet extra nous avait été offert – mais sans connaitre les vins) et la couleur du vin le montre bien. Finesse du fruit (surtout sur la fraise fraîche), des épices douces, belle acidité, l’évolution est perceptible, mais dans le sens ou on sent que le vin est à point et nous offre le meilleur. La belle longueur et le nez charment. J’ai beaucoup aimé ! -

April 18, 2007 - Not particularly complex, but very pure - some banyard on opening, but never overwhelming and did reduce with air. Extremely clean, pure varietal flavor, acidity well-balanced with the fruit, and minimal tannin at this point. A really well-made bottle of wine.
