January 5, 2023 - First time having more than a taste of this (shared a bottle with my wife). Gave it about a three hour decant. Very deep dark electric magenta color. Blackberry, boysenberry, strawberry shortcake, blanched almonds, and milk chocolate shavings on the nose. Very smooth, dry palate, with crushed velvety acidity. Full, plush tannins on the long finish.
This is youthful and very fruit forward, yet has depth. Tons of room to grow (there’s no potential built into my score). -

October 17, 2022 - Tasting room pour (several hour slow ox). Very deep dark electric lavender magenta color. Black cherry and burnt cinnamon French toast on the nose. Smooth, dry, plush palate. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish.
This is really nice for its youth. There’s a warm spiciness emanating throughout. -

June 5, 2022 - Eight hour slow ox. Very deep dark electric magenta color. Plum, sage, black currant, burnt cinnamon scone, and subtle maple syrup on the nose. Smooth, dry palate. Firm, full, plush tannins on the longish finish. 75% CS and 25% CF. Aged 20 months in 65% new French oak.
My score is a placeholder because this is so youthful. I believe it will be at least this good in a year or two.
