September 26, 2015 - 4th Saturday Brown Bagger (Rich's & Dana's): Tobacco ash and black fruit on the nose turning to bouillon. There's a plastic-like quality on the palate, along with dark fruit and cherry, turning thin through the midpalate and finish. Somewhat firm and structured. Perhaps not a representative bottle.

October 18, 2011 - Drank this over 3 says. Day 1 and two were very similar. Quite intense, dark fruits with strong tannins, dry and spicy finish. A well made wine but fruit was a bit muted. Well that changed substantially in day 3. The fruit was voluptuous. You could taste both dark and red fruits, tannin was more balanced and still had a long finish. Rate it an 88 day 1 and 2, 90 on day 3. So 89 average. Don't know if a bottle could normally last 3 days to get the best of it.

September 25, 2010 - Very nice balanced flavor, age has definitely helped make this a great wine. Slight bell pepper flavor, nice balanced mouth feel...drinks like a $50plus bottle.

February 13, 2010 - One hour decant. Deep, dark, rich purple color. Nice, voloptuous legs. Nose emphasizes typical Napa cab characteristics: lush fruits, dustiness, wet earth, more fruit (mostly boysenbery).
The palate is very clean and full. Initially there's great fruit, transitioning to licorice, baking spices, and wet stones. The finish is reasonably long and fresh with fresh cracked pepper and good robust tannins. Nice bottle.

December 15, 2009 - Threw a LOT of sediment. Very nice, classic cab on nose and palate. Good fruit, good structure. Paired well with steak. Good QPR.
