November 10, 2023 - Young, rich, and verging on overripe, this wine was attractive and reasonably balanced. After 2 hours of air, this had great length but not a lot of complexity.

May 5, 2023 - Much darker and deeper on the nose as compared to the 2017 Classico, with a lot more plum and more black cherry notes. Even though it's much darker, it also felt cleaner and prettier on the nose than the 2017 Classico. Full bodied with a very well rounded mouthfeel which makes it feel lighter than it actually is. Lots of plum, black cherry and blackberry flavors, married to balanced spices and tannins on the backside. The depth shown through the mid-body and into the finish was a strength. Again, this wine had been open for a bit, so call these the impressions of this wine 2-3 years down the road. (Masi Wine bar; Munich, Germany)
