August 21, 2022 - Tasted at winery. Nice nose of red currant, ton of fruit. Deep rich taste on palatte. Strong red fruit up front, red currant and black cherry Good long finish. Different than most Sheridan's as 80% Merlot. Very round, lucious wine. Drink over next 4 years imo.

April 8, 2022 - Not sure what is going on here. I am normally a big Sheridan fan, but this is really sub par for them. Super sweet with a really odd taste I would normally find in inexpensive wines. Can’t be 100% sure, but suspect in this lower label/wine the use of Mega Purple. It’s not supposed to be noticeable but I quickly pick up this odd flavor and smell in inexpensive really dark wines. Disappointing for a winery as good as Sheridan normally is.
