January 23, 2024 - A delicious Washington State Bdx style blend, 44% CS, 41%Merlot, 10%CF, 5%PV. Smooth wine, good depth of fruit flavors. blackberry, tobacco, cherry, chocolate (I always get chocolate in any of the Abeja reds) Very enjoyable to drink and at a good price.

January 6, 2023 - Fruit forward - blueberries, blackberries and cranberries. Round full and juicy - with some oak and vanilla bean. Somewhat one dimensional. Young and might develop?

April 25, 2022 - Recent Abeja wine club shipment. The 2020 is a blend of 44% CS, 41% Merlot, 10% Cab Franc, and 5% Petit Verdot. 16 months in French oak, 14% new. I like this better than the 2019. Despite the youth and with no decant the wine was smooth, with juicy red and dark fruits, cranberry, lavender, plum. Well balanced and nice finish. Should only improve with more age.
