October 30, 2014 - Monthly Tasting Group LTB 2014-08; Monastery wines. (By EvA & TdJ): Beautiful and expressive bouquet with ripe red berry fruits, earth and some oak. On the palate certainly for a Burgundy a lot of sweetness of ripe red fruits also some acidity, soft and integrated tannin and a medium length. The hot vintage is noticeable. Some thought it was too ripe and already a bit too old. I liked the wine. Drink now.

July 15, 2013 - It is somewhat brown colored. It is fizzling out and does not have the Umph but still hold together well. Good structure and tertiary flavors.

4/1/2007 (link)(Vougeraie Vougeot Clos de la Prieuré Rouge) The nose is deeper, a little reduced, sweet but not too sweet. Quite some density on the palate, low acidity and no sharp edges. An easy wine to drink.
