November 12, 2023 - Fantastic wine! Dark cherry, cardamom, and earthy berries. Well balanced, soft tannins and smooth flavors. One of the best Brunellos I’ve had in some time. Should hold up nicely for more aging but this wine is in a great place right now.

May 13, 2023 - Tuscany (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Savoury with a little ripe red cherry, a dollop of sweet oak spice, cream. Juicy, fleshy with medium plus intensity woody, slightly coarsely textured, tannins, fruit suffers beneath this, otherwise quite balanced. Hmm. Time (on top of the 6 years its already had) might help?

September 20, 2022 - Consistent notes from a couple nights ago. Bottle had been coravined and the remainder was consumed tonight.

September 18, 2022 - This impressed. Wonderful nose as it was poured. At about the 30 minute mark the nose faded and alcohol started to show through. At the 60 minute mark the alcohol had resolved, the nose was back and the flavors combined with some nice tannins to present a round, light but lush balanced wine that drank wonderfully with a rich tomato sauce. Give this at least an hour of air if possible.

June 25, 2022 - Sangiovese Mini Expo (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Wild cherry, tobacco leaf, slight cedar and sweet spice in support. Nice nose. Medium plus intensity acidity, wild cherry, tobacco leaf, fleshy, fresh, coarse sandpaper textured woody tannins persist beneath this long. Yum.
