May 12, 2012 - Dried cherry and meat on the nose, cola, flower, and mocha on palate. Velvety and surprisingly balanced.

December 30, 2010 - Opened this one up as the aniticpated highlight on Christmas Day - it didnt disappoint. Deep red colour, lovely old world, warming nose; dark dark fruit. Longer than expected finish; very smooth with layers of flavour - could not have hoped for more from this (need to get more!). A great Brunello - great time to drink! Will try to get another to see if it can get any better. I'd not heard of this producer until a conversation with a local in a Florence enoteca - nice. I look forward to my '04s in a few years...

November 5, 2008 - Medium bodied Brunello with good cherry fruit mixed with some mineral and cocoa flavors. Not that complex of a wine. Not sure this will improve any more. Drink up.

June 1, 2006 - Medium-ruby colour. Aromas of cherry, earth/sottobosco, dried violets. Medium-full bodied, still evolving, but very nice. Red fruit and dried flowers on the palate and through to the moderate-length finish of 35-40s. Needs another couple years still.

May 15, 2006 - Beautiful aromas of dried cherry and spice. Opened up with decanting. This could hold for many more years.
