April 4, 2023 - Visiting Nino Negri in Valtellina, wine #3/6. Made from single varietal of Chiavennasca, aged 2 years in used FR oak and 2 years in bottle. This Riserva was produced for the first time in 1959. Light+ ruby colour, brick hue. Medium intensity aroma of roses, cherries, strawberries, cloves, hint of licorice and tobacco. Medium body, fresh and fruity, red fruit flavours with hints of tar and salinity, finely grained silky tannins.
