January 28, 2024 - One hour decant. Deep dark magenta color. Black cherry, plum, raspberry, and patchouli-infused chocolate. Dry, silty, full bodied palate. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish.
Great nose and nicely structured. Very impressive for the money. Not sure how much more it will improve, but it’s really good right now. -

October 17, 2022 - Several hour slow ox and Vacuvin’d overnight (tasting room pour). Deep dark purple magenta color. Earthy, herbal cocoa , rose petals, vanilla, and juicy boysenberry and blueberry on the nose. Smooth, dry palate, with slightly chalky acidity. Firm, tannins on the medium long+ finish.
This had too much air, so my score is a placeholder. I bought six bottles because I’m confident this will be great with appropriate age and aeration. -

June 5, 2022 - Eight hour slow ox. Nearly opaque electric magenta color. Blackberry/boysenberry pie and burnt toast on the nose. Smooth, very dry palate, with good, lingering acidity. Firm, yet supple tannins on the longish finish.
This will improve in the coming year. It’s currently all fruit and baking spice. My style of CF.
