March 10, 2024 - 8 months since my last taste of this one......hence the new note and score!
Coravined a glass after having a white with the sheepshead fillets Carol caught for us 2 days ago out with Andrew on the boat.
The blackened fish was great with the BCellars Blend 23, but I digress....
This one is rockin' right out of the gate and for about 60 minutes it is one of the best, juiciest, meatiest, most flavorful MHoppers ever with soft but noticeable oak on the backend.....then it turns kind of reticent, slightly astringent and gritty in the mouth, also blacker which usually connotes more time needed. If popping one right now, I'd drink it in the first hour. It's absolutely beautiful in all its MHopper fruit hedonism.......so yummy!3 people found this helpful Comment -

September 23, 2023 - Full bodied, black fruit, with a powerful herb and spice kick that will grab your attention.
