March 2, 2024 - 1/6. It starts with a striking and not unappealing smell of new oak (20% new, reportedly.) This aroma is tightly involved with all sorts of mouthwatering concentrations, of gold-colored berries, salt, and fronded, minty herbs. A mouthful is active with flavor—attenuated; sharply grained; incipient glutamate (proto liquid aminos); bruised lemons; heaps of chalk. Acidity is busy and broadly saturating. The finish is extensive and aspirated brightly with soot of labrusca seed and sage. If I were to open another bottle this year, I would aim it at well-seasoned, fatty, fowl or pork. (Trotters and/or gizzards, most of all.) This bottle was opened yesterday. Today, it tastes at least as good as it did then.

December 19, 2023 - Hands down one of my favorite Burg producer.

Had this bottle with oysters, beautiful showing. Nose of white flowers and citrus fruits all covered with honey. Mouthfeel has tons of layers, quite long aftertaste.

This is a no brainer for the price.

December 5, 2023 - D’une belle rondeur, le boisé est bien dosé. L’ensemble est harmonieux, avec une belle mineralité. Cela me redonne le goût de la bourgogne en blanc.

June 17, 2022 - Well, fantastic QPR for a start - grabbed this by mistake from the cellar but I’m glad I did. Had it with fried plaice, potatoes and a herbal sauce. An excellent match, on the nose sun warm resin (like from a warm wooden house), peach, vanilla, dill and parsley. The palate added buttery nuttiness. Medium mouthfeel and a medium to long finish. A quality wine to drink now or hold for a couple of years.
