Community Tasting Notes 8

November 22, 2023 - Super expressive with notes of flowers, dark cherries and cranberry fruit. Good acidity, freshness, is wild, vin nature in style. Very interesting wine, not grand vin, but different and fun to drink. With CP at Palægade.

October 28, 2023 - A little funky, but to be expected as this is one of the new natural darlings of Burgundy. I think it would benefit from some more bottle age. It was nice enough, but didn't find anything super-compelling at this stage.

September 8, 2023 - This is exactly what all natural wine should strive to be like.

Fruit-focused with mainly red berries and some dark ones mixed in there. Red and dark cherry, raspberry, blackberry, cranberry and overall bramble. It has this jammy feeling but it's not at all jammy in sweet fruit way as there's plenty of amazing acidity in it. Reminds me a bit of Petit-Roy.

There's just a slight funky and wild character to it but none of that barnyard and manure stuff that I cannot take. It's more in the way of wet moss, wood, garden herbs, spices and crushed wet stones with a touch of black pepper.

Giving this a 92 now, but I think it can improve to 93 with just a tad more age or at least stay at 92 for quite some years. Lovely wine!

January 26, 2023 - Pretty, fruit driven nose with notes of cherries and spices. It has an interesting, slightly wild character but overall remains very clean and pure. Nice acidity on the palate with good balance and more of the same flavors. Nice finish. Really lovely wine that is full of character and will only improve with time. 93+
