March 1, 2024 - Some Wine Tasted at the Acker La Paulée Auction (Maybourne Hotel - Beverly Hills CA): Tasted at auction. Magnum. Very rich, gracefully maturing. Very good density, enough freshness.

January 7, 2024 - This was lovely, delicate yet lots of complexity. Petrol on the nose with some stone fruit and a bit of underripe crisp melon. This paired beautifully with hamachi crudo that had a Meyer lemon olive oil drizzle that had a touch of maple syrup in with sea salt. The pairing brought out the sweetness and fruit in the wine. This is drinking great now and could also easily lay down another decade

    November 24, 2023 - Pale gold
Stone fruits, peace, apricot, passionfruit, some nuttiness maybe almond.
Tasting definitely brings out marzipan, a nice touch of butteriness / creaminess. Long finish.

October 13, 2023 - 10th of 12, opened 45 minutes, perfect cork and level, as May 21 bottle, fine line and length but overly thin mid palate and lack of fruit for a GC, was at its superb best about 6 years ago, hard to see upside but no sign of pox, no rush. At least F (17.5).

(Bonneau du Martray Corton-Charlemagne) This is a masterpiece, oozing mushrooms, yellow apple, baked biscuits, and white flowers. While undeniably young and primary, it will age effortlessly for decades. Appellation: Corton
