November 17, 2021 - Burgundy tasting 24 oct semi blind.
A lot of sulphur to start with but this eases off with time. Granny smith apples behind the reduction. A bit tight still with high acidity levels. Good length but very undeveloped for such age. Needs more time.

October 27, 2021 - Excellent tonight - if anything, showing a little young, and much fresher than the bottle we had last year. Lightly reductive on the nose. Lighter-bodied on the palate.

June 21, 2021 - TO Zoom Tasting (Vancouver, BC): Tasted blind next to the 2005 Henri Boillot Corton-Charlemagne. Tighter and more focused on the nose than the Henri Boillot, but overall quite similar in profile. Some oak is evident, with classic CC lemon zest and flinty crushed slate. A bit of spice on the finish and ended a bit warm. A nice showing considering the vintage coupled with good acidity to keep it in check. If I had to nitpick the heat on the finish was a bit distracting to me, but overall this was very enjoyable.

May 28, 2021 - 9th of 12, pnp, perfect cork and level, tighter, steely, citric, attractive line and length, fruit muted/largely eaten, more attractive 3 years ago, now falling behind the 00, 02 and 05, little upside but no rush. F (17.5).

(Bonneau du Martray Corton-Charlemagne) This is a masterpiece, oozing mushrooms, yellow apple, baked biscuits, and white flowers. While undeniably young and primary, it will age effortlessly for decades. Appellation: Corton
