February 18, 2024 - Mycket bra för pengen! Från minnet: Mörkt röd färg. Tydlig doft av körsbär och blommor, mycket funk för att vara Bourgogne. Smaken är väldigt tät och fruktig.

    October 21, 2023 - deep ruby

on the nose - black berries, dark fruit
    Med + Alcohol

on the palette - similar as on the nose with additional wood and violet

Needs time in the glass to reveal its true potential (45mins~)

September 30, 2023 - {Bought a case on release, only 5 bottles left after this one...} Delicious, bigger size than the usual Michel Gros style; puts on weight and some complexity after 30-45 minutes. No rush to drink but hard to keep my hands off!

September 29, 2023 - (#7 of 12, perfect fill). OK, sigh, we've sucked down half the case of 12 bought. Super-duper Bourgogne, interesring mix of 2020 big voluptuous fruit with Gros precision. Good nose, great attack on palate, very long finish. Spectacular for a Bourgogne. Killer Tursday night wine. Gros wines criticized for being too polished, this is a great rejoinder. Wouldn't hesitate if you see this, buy it. My supplier out.

August 11, 2023 - A Sextet of Reasonably Priced 2020 Burgundies (Dig Wines, San Francisco): Beautifully clear, deep ruby. Slightly brambly nose with blackberry fruit. Medium weight. Complex flavors of smoke and blackberry with inner mouth violet. Lightly woody. It has the richness of the vintage, excellent acidity, and an authoritative, tannic finish. Delicious and some aging potential as well. I am rarely impressed by Bourgogne, but this was a different story.
