May 21, 2020 - 16 yr old bottle which deep dark cherry

  • Sensory_AWRI Likes this wine: 88 points

November 21, 2019 - Very dense, dark red, brick tinge. Youthful for its age. Intense aromas - molasses, shoe leather, vegetal, and an absolute pepper BOMB. Viscous attack, some fruit remaining, bit dried out on the back - still firm on the finish. Would have been a monster in its youth. Fully mature.

  • Sensory_AWRI Likes this wine: 90 points

November 21, 2019 - Dark crimson red with a slight brickish hue. Raisins and dates with some leathery and slight tobacco leaf notes. Subtle rancid characters underneath.
Sweet dried fruits and cola flavours with cardamom and clove spice. Mod length with soft tannin and slaty acid.

  • Sensory_AWRI Likes this wine: 91 points

November 21, 2019 - Brick-red. Black pepper, leather, molasses, dark fruit cake, med/high intensity, slight soy sauce. Stewed plum, slight harsh finish, black pepper, dark fruit cake, long finish, fine tannins, med intensity, plenty of balanced acid, still fresh.

  • Sensory_AWRI Likes this wine: 95 points

November 21, 2019 - Dull deep red, brown hue. Meaty, blueberry, honey, leather, toffee, raspberry, complexity, chocolate. High acid, clean. Firm but velvet tannin, fresh fruity but fade a little quicker, dry fruity fig, dates taste long, dark chocolate very balanced and well structured wine.

(Craggy Range Le Sol Syrah) #2; VaynerPAZZZ on QPR; COLOR-dark; NOSE-this is so Old World; loaded w/ black & white pepper; red chile pepper; makes me think of the Northern Rhone; TASTE-lots of fruit; very New World; reminds me of Barossa shiraz; very bright & captivating fruit; really polished; really well made, but kind of standard boring; like many $20-$25 Barossa Shiraz's; WS-91; GV-90
