Community Tasting Notes 6

January 5, 2024 - This was opened at the Goldener Hirsch restaurant in Deer Valley. It was notable for notes of light petrol, lemon oil and pungent minerals followed by bright, incisive acidity with loads of concentration. 90% of the way to a Keller GG was my comment. This was detailed and truly excellent

October 7, 2023 - Pale yellow. Lemon and lemon oil on the nose.
In the mouth, lemon and yellow apple on entry with moderate acidity, moderate mineral. Saline texture with a relatively short and linear finish. Overall fine but a bit lackluster.

August 22, 2023 - Drunk over two hours. Good price. I had expected more but it was surely very nice, firm, layered, good balance and a lot in reserve. Needs more air or (much better) ten years in the cellar.

December 7, 2022 - INVEST hit the nail for me. I lack the exeprience to predict its future, like Invest.

I drank it shortly before the 2014 GG (see there), but I wish I could have tasted that one in 2015

    September 24, 2022 - 12,5% Alc., pale yellow color.

Nose: Mineral, stony, a bit yellow fruit.

Palate: Analogous to the low alcohol level on the lean side, lacking concentration, some minerality, some saltiness, some yellow fruit, a bit reductive. All in all nice but there is a lack of energy, excitement, power and individual character to be on a level of a real GG and accordingly, possibly to higher expectations, a higher score.

At the moment can't see what the potential for development could be.
