May 10, 2024 - Day 2. Medium minus ruby color. Rose, cherry, rainwater aromas. More elegant than other generous experiences of some other vintages. Son of Federico is now the winemaker. Very nuanced, charming and structured. Some soy and sandalwood on the palate.

January 13, 2024 - 1st impression: leather and roasted nuts/oak
2nd day: oak notes gone. Balsamic, leather and quite a lot of earthiness. Sweet fruits as well.
Not bad to drink now. Better let sit for a few more years. -

Questo non era male con più di una sfaccettatura gustativa.
Il prezzo in enoteca un filo alto, ma mi ha dato qualche soddisfazione. -

November 1, 2023 - Medium-dark ruby in color. Full, fragrant & attractive of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & plums with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes of roses, leather, herbs, spices, anise, minerals & a hint of cedar in the background. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, cranberries & mulberries with spices, herbs, minerals, oak & a touch of oak/vanilla. Long lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing but will continue to develop further with additional aging.
