January 22, 2013 - Medium garnet color, with aromas of juicy dark fruit, plum, and vanilla. On the palate, flavors of pie filling, blueberry, cranberry, damp earth, and oak are delicious. Rich, with plush flavors and crisp acidity lending to a medium-long finish.

July 27, 2012 - Light ruby with some bricking. Carmelized cherries on the nose. Dry, tart cherries, light fruit, bright red berries begin to develop with open time, some bitter tannin elements on the finish. PnP, 88 pts. A day later and the improvement is where I hoped and expected, bright red berries, smooth mouth feel, light tannins and the bitter is gone. A couple of days later some pine tannins on the finish

February 11, 2011 - Nice Color, New World Style with Nose of Cherry and Fruit. Palate of Floral Rasberries and Strawberries, Good Balance, Silky Finish. My wife Really liked This, Drink Now!

September 8, 2010 - Even though I normally prefer "bigger" Pinots, I really liked this wine. Cherry and Rasberry notes with a very nice balance of tannin and very subtle oak-almost no oak. Long finish. Nice job John.

April 8, 2010 - This wine comes somewhere between the Bucher and the Wrens Hop. I did like this wine, it was more fruit forward than the Bucher but much more balanced then the Wren. A classic berry nose and raspberry mid palate. Fruit mostly demonstrates primary flavors with no secondaries present. I would say this wine has aging potential and will easily provide pleasure over the next 7-10 years. I still prefer the Bucher, but this one was clearly better than the 06 Wren. Another good effort from Holdredge. Now if you can just have patience, this wine will reward you down the road.
