May 19, 2023 - A beautiful aged wine showing great fruit with a lovely smooth finish. Needs to be decanted. Very reminiscent of the Jim Barry Lodge Hill 2002 Shiraz.

May 24, 2015 - Expressive nose of raspberries and mulberries, old leather, damp leaves. Hints of aniseed and bramble. A really enticing Barossa like nose.
Silky palette with integrated tannins. Plenty of primary fruits with hints of mocha and aniseed. Acid well balanced.
This is a well made, quality wine. The word balanced comes to mind and even elegant for this style. Finishes medium plus and a great example of a Barossa Shiraz with some age. Has the guts to go many more years and should improve over the next 5 years or so.
