February 6, 2023 - Good QPR at $10 from costco. Great little « basic » Chianti. Good aromas of licorice and raisins. Followed with soft flavors of plum, raisins and leather. Not much complexity and a short Finnish. It did, however, pair very nicely with basic spaghetti and meatballs.

January 14, 2023 - What can I say… it is an $8 Chianti from Costco. Does the trick if you are in the mood for a basic Chianti with the week night spaghetti or pizza. Would keep it on hand for cooking. We opened it up for a recipe that asked for some red wine, and decided to drink the rest. Some red berry fruit up front that was somewhat pleasing, but it went flat from there. Medium acidity and a long, uninspired finish.

December 20, 2022 - Lacks body of a good basic Chianti, but very nice and perfect weeknight lasagna or pizza wine. $10 Costco great QPR.
