June 10, 2014 - Sensational old world Barolo. Terroir filled bouquet and earthy, fresh, fruity and beautifully balanced palate that finished with lengthy elegance. Perhaps one of the best Baroli of a difficult vintage.

March 15, 2014 - 2003 Piedmont Party (Troy & Gina's): Tied for WOTN for me, and maybe even the winner as it seemed to hold up better in the glass over the course of the evening.
A wonderfully deep garnet color with a fragrant nose of roses, anise and leather. The palette was complex and focused, the tannins well integrated. What a great wine from a fantastic producer. -

November 5, 2011 - Young and tannic but still approachable. Loads of earth and mushrooms on the nose. Tannins hit you right away but a nice touch of semi-sweet chocolate and berry fruit match the earthy flavors. All barolo, no hiding it here.
